DEBUT STYLE THROWBACK- SNSD EDITION

Girl's Generation debut may have been 2yrs before this analysis takes place, but I think we can all agree their fashion evolution began with their career-defining 2009 hit 'Gee' which skyrocketed them into the #1 spot- not just in music and entertainment but also in fashion...

The fashion may not have been the most groundbreaking styling to hit the K-Pop fashion world- but it surely established them amongst the best in style- it was simply yet charming and nothing could've fit the song better- it was a contrast of bright rainbow colors that was conveying the bubbliness of being in love- and their proving that plain jeans and tops can bring the best out in a girl- sometimes simplicity is the way to go...

After all they're a 9-member girl group so style-wise much distinction isn't really present in all members- but as you will come to see, its not always about the clothes- sometimes instead of the clothes defining you, you define the clothes- and none do it as well as these nine...

First up, Yuri- yep she was always the sexy-sweet one from the very beginning and she has effortlessly kept that title...

Up next- probably voted the most beautiful visual in K-Pop- here is Yoona (who I see as the Audrey Hepburn of K-Pop) proving real beauty and elegance can take you a long way...

Probably voted the best 'eye-smile' in K-Pop up next is Tiffany- the Cali-Korean girl- who's style never falls short of fresh...

What comes after fresh, well in K-Pop its cute- and no carries it as naturally as Sunny (even the name says it)- really proving that personality can be fashionable (and rightfully cute)...

Followed by one of the ultimate fashionistas of K-Pop, Jessica- who was just starting to find her way on the fashion route- but this single definitely showed us why she is called 'Princess'- some have the charm, some don't, she does...

Whom I considered the most-beautiful member of SNSD (clearly my bias and girl crush)- Sooyoung- style can be an effort, but to some rare beings it just comes naturally- and no one proves it as well as 'the legs of SNSD' herself...

Another unbeatable player in the court of cuteness- 'kid leader' Taeyeon- who looks the youngest but happens to be the leader hence being the oldest (oh curse Asian youth)- and she doesn't hesitate to show that through her style (so of course we all can't help but love her)...

Another bias of mine- 'Dancing Queen' Hyoyeon- the definition of real with a dash of natural sassiness- so of course we always love anything and everything about her, and her style had made that an easy job...

And lastly everyone's favorite maknae (the name of the youngest in a group-K-Pop terminology) Seohyun- who always has the right moves and never disappoints, and her style is no exception...

And ever since the year 2009, they have never disappointed- musically and stylistically...
